Second FP at a different Location

Hi,

I moved to a different project 8 months ago. Filed AR11 and also called the service center to update the my pending files with the new address. I had applied for 2nd EAD while I was in the old location itself and received the 2nd EAD card to the new address as per the update done with the service center.

My attorney has now received my 2nd FP notice. I have still not received it and there is no change in the online status. But the FP is scheduled at the old location center.

What are my options?
1. Can I walk in to the nearest center to get the FP done?
2. Do I need to take an appointment?
3. Should I go on the date scheduled or earlier?
4. If the local center denies, should I still go to the old location to get the FP done or get the FP rescheduled?

I am totally confused.

I appreciate your valuable suggestions/experience.

You can try first nearest center to you. It happened to me. I have got my FP notice for a place different. When contacted on 800 number, my attorney was told that I could go to a place nearer to us. At last, I ended up with a center which is 3 miles from my home. They have not only accepted our FP, but also I could get it done almost 1 month in advance.

My advice is to call and schedule FP in a place nearer to you. You can suggest them a place nearer to you. You can find the AOS offices in the following link.

Did you mean I could just walk in first to a nearest center to get the FP done or get the FP rescheduled to the nearest center and then go?

We walked in to the local center and got our second FP done today. The officers were very cooperative and it tool just about 30 mins to complete the process.
