Second EAD approved in 35 days

Hi All,

My first EAD expires on 12/18/2003. Applied for EAD(second) renewal on Sep 12th, 2003(ND), and got approved on Oct 17th, 2003. Total time taken - 35 days

- Flamboyant
I-140 - Approved in 14 days
I-485 - ND: 11-18-2003
I-485 - App Date --- Pending

Looks like NSC is processing EADs and APs on a priority. A lot of approvals in less than 2 months. Good...

I applied mine on 9/4/03 online and gave FP/Photos on 9/23 and mailed the docs couple of days later.
Received the card on 10/18/03 with validity from 12/13/03, the day my first EAD expires

But no word on my AP though ... applied end of July at NSC.

This is very good news!
Did they return to the legacy INS' policy, i.e. back-to-back valid dates on EAD?
I hope so.
