Second EAD/AP applied but no response from USCIS

Hi Guys ..
I recently applied for EAD/AP renewal for my spouse and myself. Fedex tracking shows that USCIS received my application package on 10/15/2004.
I keep checking my online bank account to see if teh checks that I sent had been cashed or not . But nothing so far.
Can anybody who has applied for his/her EAD/AP extension on their own give a general Idea as to how many days after USCIS receives the application does the processing starts ?

EAD Renewal

USCIS received my application on 14 october 2004 and the check was deposited on 18 october 2004. I got the approval email of my EAD yesterday.

I dont understand the delay in my case ..guess they didnt like our pictures and might have sent the applications back ( thats the only thing I can think about as I have provided all the required documents).

OR ..
TO THINK EXTREMLY OPTIMISTICALLY ..
They might be pretty close to approving our 485 as we did our FP recently on 10/08/2004.


Just to make sure : EAD charges were $175/applicant and
Ap charges were $165/applicant ...

Am I correct ...?

The fee you have sent is correct. I wish your I-485 gets approve before they touch your EAD/AP file. GOOD LUCK
