Script for I-140 cases

Hello programming gurus,

Has anyone got a working script for I-140 cases at NSC?

I saw scripts mostly for I-485 cases.

after pressing alt-F8 and running the scan and says done, the current search status window pops up.

what do I do next. the sheet is still empty.

I have very limited vb script knowledge and macros.

Hi, What is that script to scan 140's? I am hearing it for the first time. What can I do with the script? What is it used for?

It's a Excel Visual Basic macro that will check statuses of I-140's with the same notice date. For example, you can check LIN03-120-50000 through LIN03-120-50500 on the BCIS web page. If there is a I-140 filing in the LIN range, it will put it in a sheet.

This is not a simple status checker. This gathers other I-140 statuses so that you can see how many I-140's are filed on one specific date, how many are approved, how many got RFE, and so on.

Further to c514468 info, you can use the scripts using these steps,

Download the 140.xls sheet and open with your Excel program.
Click Yes to enable macros.
Press alt-F8 and choose I-140(default) and run.
Just be careful not to scan to many cases as you would be blocked by BCIS from continuing.

I tried the xls script and indeed
(after some cases got populated)
BCIS blocked me from checking.
How long does it take to get the block
removed.

I scanned 500 cases yesterday and didn't get blocked.

Today, I did 300 and got blocked.

It took exactly 24 hours before they allow you again.
 
140 approved.

My 140 has been approved after a long wait.

Details:
140 Receipt date: 10-30-2002
RFE: 01-14-2003 (Company's ability to pay)
RFE reply: 3-28-2003
Approved: 5-15-2003

LIN030235XXXX
EB3, RIR, Non concurrent.
Our company is a small one with about 60 employees.

Great relief after a long wait.

In VB Editor, replace all ocurrences of "140" with "485", "131" or "765" to check 485, AP or EAD, respectively.
 
I tried this scanning process. After it starts scanning the BCIS page of online status check shows up on the screen and after few seconds goes off and the screen says Done. It goes back again to the blank worksheet. What does this mean?
