I have a GC and my wife is having an Advance Parole.We will be going to India and staying in Paris on the way to India. I am coming back from India though through Italy where I will be staying In Italy for a few days. Will anybody know if I will need one schengen visa or will I need two schengen visas as while going my first point of entry is paris while on the way back my first point of entry is Italy. Any answers will be highly appreciated.

1st - wrong forum.
2nd - you have to make sure that your schengen visa will not expire and allows multiple entries. Get your visa from a consulate of a country which will be your primary destination (France?)

- You will have to file and get only ONE Schengen Visa.
- You will have to file it in the French Consulate (and NOT Italian Consulate).
- You will have to have confirmed tickets to show that you will leave France on a specific date and likewise you must have confirmed tickets to show the departure from Italy on a specific date.
- You must have hotel arrangements with valid confirmation in both the countries, and
- you must have travel insurance that will have expatriation health coverage.
- If you make your Schengen Visa request to the Italy consulate, it will be summarily rejected because your entry point is FRANCE.
