Hi All,

I am trying to book interview date through new website (vfs)..

My questions is can we book interview in diffrent state, say my residence is AP , can I take interview in Delhi ???

Also I guess there no language option in Delhi , so I am guessing how do these only hindi speakers manage in Delhi consulate?
 
My guess is that it is understood that they will speak english as well...

Anyway, please share any information that you find in this regard with us. I'm trying to get an appointment in Delhi, for my father-in-law who resides in Bombay.

Hi,

I also had the same Q. So I sent a mail to the consulate. And this is the answer I got...

"If you are resident in India, you are required to appear for an interview at the visa section having jurisdiction over the territory where you have been resident during the past six months.

Indian citizens resident in the USA and applying for a new visa to replace an expiring visa can request an appointment at any of the four visa sections. "

Please let me know if you came to know anything contradict to this.....
