Is it possible that one can be receiving interview scheduled without being put in-line? I am not familiar with the process, but want to see if that's possible or have seen someone that had that happened in the past?

Or possible that, one is in-line but never received any updates?

By now I should be in-line, but I have not heard anything. My local office is not busy like other major cities, so I am truly interested to know what's up.

If you're referring to the online status updates, yes you can be scheduled for an interview without seeing "in line for scheduling". The status updates are not always reliable; sometimes it skips stages, other times it's stuck in an old stage like "in line for interview scheduling" even after the interview or oath has been completed.

Thanks y'all. I hope that's the case. I am worried sick because others have received in-line online case update that have submitted the same time w/ my application, and so far nothing for me. If I don't receive this week something, I will definitely become paranoid if the files get lost or not.
