schedule the Finger Print appointment for EAD

I have filed I-765 EAD application.
Do we need to schedule the Finger Print appointment or we will receive the FP notice from the USCIS. On the online receipt it is written :-

BCIS WILL SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT to have your biometrics taken at a BCIS Application Support Center
(ASC). You will be receiving a biometrics appointment notice by mail with a specific date, time, and place where
you will have your fingerprints and/or photo taken.
• You MUST wait for your biometrics appointment notice prior to going to the ASC for processing.
• This Confirmation Receipt notice is NOT your appointment notice.

As any body gone through this recently?

That's not right but you could not do any thing at this point

They say not to go unless you have an appointment on the reciept but they will send you a letter (kinda RFE) saying " It appeared that you have not appeared for biometrics yet" kind of letter.

When you show up at service center -- they will reject you saying it's not an appointment. If you call 800 number --- they say they could not schedule any appointments etc., etc.,

That's how things are going now a days and hate to say we have to go through this for at least another 2+ years.
 
E-file EAD

Thanks mainewaiver, This means e-filing is not good any more. Where did you File your EAD application , I mean which service center?

Any Body else in the same situation?
