San Jose FP waiters thread (from 12/28/2001)

At SJ ASC, not SJ INS office

The SJ ASC is is located on the story rd. Don\'t remember the street No. The ASC is open on Sat. I think 1:30 - 2:30 pm would be the good time to go.
 
Is FP Notices based on RD or ND

Hi all,

Its good to hear that more San Jose people are getting FP Notices. I\'m just wondering if FP notices are issues based on RD or ND, my ND is around 08/24 but haven\'t received any notice yet ?

As far as I observed they are depending on priority date that is printed on I-485 receipt which is actually RD.

In my I-485, the RD data is Aug 16th . In the AVM it says we received
I-485 application on Sep 16th?

When can I expect FP?

Nd is Sep 17th.
WAC is 285.

Done FP today 01/11 at San Jose ASC

Received FP notice yesterday, went today with my family to get the FP done. As mentioned multiple times in this board, no questions asked. FP was scheduled for Feb.8.

What the hell is the Logic for FP Notice?

I have RD:8/18, ND:8/29, WAC#01-269 on Receipt notice.
But on AVM-- RD:8/28, ND: Not mentioned.
I see lot of guys on this site with same or higher WAC # as mine, in San Jose, getting FP Notice.
But I have not received any notice till now. Can a expert here put some light on it? What is the
logic for FP notice issuance?

if your zip code is amongst the busy ones for fingerprinting ur fp notice will be delayed.

this is particularly noticeable in the sfo bay area

Be patient!!!

Fp notices are issued based on your RD wich in your case is 8/18 whereas WAC # is based on your ND(don\'t ask me why?). As for as I know SJC waiters have not gone that far yet(latest RD who got FP is 07/12). So you have at least a month or a month & half to get your fp.
 
forgot to mention

that it also depends on how busy your ASC is.......in the bay area, everyone knows SJC is more crowded than OAK and SFO......Right now, SFO is the fastest ASC in the bay area and SJC being the slowest..may be we should have moved somewhere near SFO before applying for 485;-))))

Schedule Date for FP: 02/19/2002

May go there tomorrow(01/15/2002) morning.
