Is there anyone recently going into USCIS office at San Francisco (630 Sansome Street) ? What is cell phone policy now ? Can I bring in cell with camera ? what about laptop ?
Best if you leave the techno gadgets out. Phone can be brought in as long as you turn it off. No idea about the laptop. Leave it at the house for 1 day. Be respectful. Scanning techno gadgets requires extra security measures, you'll probably be holding a line if you bring them in. No guarantee there if you would be able to take them in anyways.
woops! i missed the camera part. Cafe is right on this one.
Not with a camera, though. Laptops are definitely a no-no. If you end up bringing electronics, the cafe across the street will hold your bag for you for $5 or something I think.
