How to check the status of permanent Labor application

You can check the status of your application by calling Phone Information Retrieval System("tone talker") at 415-975-4617. You will need the regional office case number or the employer's telephone number to retrieve the information. You can also call regional office at 415-975-4601. The automated voice recording provides current information regarding processing dates and time frames. You may leave a message at this number.

GP111, can you please confirm this is the thread replacing the old SF DOL tracking? Since the moderator is not under your name and not much posting here yet, I want to be sure I stay in track with wherever you are.
 
02-28-2003 cases

I randamly checked some cases with RD on 02-28-2003. For all the 90 cases I checked, 43 were certified between 08-15 and 09-20, 44 cases still say "received" (I'm one of them), and two cased were remanded to state.

Does this ratio mean DOL send 3-optition letter to ~50% of the case? Or it simply means they are not done with 02-28 yet, hopefully? BTW there is no significant pattern by job code.

Hey I am not Moderator... Just a poor Immigrant like everybody else trying to go thru this painfull Labor !!!!

Substitute Labor

The sucess rate in Substitute labor is pretty high.
Many of my friends have been successful in this process, i have not seen any cases getting rejected unusually.
If the company is doing a substitute labor for someone he is the lucky guy.

given that Experience/Qualifications matches 90% or more.

reqr my lawyer filled: BS+ 0 yrs expr.

had one RFE in feb 2003, on education qualification verification, we sent the copies of my degree, thats it.

what should i expect next?

How much time it takes for 3 Options letter

Hi Gp111,

Do you know, how much time it takes for 3 option letter to reach the employer/attorney? My case RD is 02/26/2003 and it's still in received status so I am preparing myself for the worst news :(. My employer/attorney still didn't get anything from DOL. I am so confused because many of the cases with 031 or 032 codes for Feb 26, 2003 are already certified(Out of total 24 cases, 13 are certified, 2 got NOF and 9 still received). Don't know what's going on there. Anyone with same RD, please respond if you got 3 option letter or any other correspondence from DOL.

* The White House continues to withhold the decision and release of the PERM regulation backing up the rumor that it will be never released before the election. On the other hand, the DOL has disclosed that it named the directors of the two National Processing Centers (PERM Program) and were recruiting the Certifying Officers for these two centers. The report also indicates that the final regulation would look substantially different from the Proposed PERM Regulation which was released quite sometime back. At this time, no one knows the specifics of the PERM program of the final version and it will be a waste of time to speculate the PERM program at this point of time. It is suggested that people hold off judgment and speculation on the PERM program until it is actually released (if released at all).

Could someone clarify my question regarding priority dates. I had applied for my LC in my previous company which was approved and I was about to file for my 140 before I decided to quit the company.
I am currently waiting for the new LC to be adjudicated. Can I use my previous priority date for the next steps after the LC?

Not if you are gonna use the New LC for further Process.
 
DOL Still Not moving beyond March 3rd 2003

Looks like DOL is still clearing up the cases before 3rd March' 03. Any thoughts on what DOL is doing these days ?
 
I140/I485 documents

Can somebody please kindly repost the document list for I140/485? I saw it in the forum sometime ago but can't locate it anymore.

Also, does anybody know who should file I-134 (Affidavit of Support)? my lawyer told me I don't need it, eventhough my husband is going to file with me (he is now on F1). I do trust my lawyer but also want to understand what I'm doing.

1) Form I-140 (Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker)
2) Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status)
3) Form I-693 (medical)
4) Form I-765 (EAD)
5) Form I-131 (AP - Travel Document)
6) Original Birth Certificate OR 2 Affidavits
7) Copy of Passport, I-94, Visa, I-129
8) If Required, Latest Pay Stubs, IT Return, W2

I-134 is not required for Spouse when you file for employment based Green Card.

I am a new entrant to forum with RD- Oct 27, 2003 #-09580416 and DOT 999.172-072.

As per gp111 latest case certified being 09549068 and my case # being 09580416, is it right to assume (09580416- 09549068) = 31348 cases are there still to process before reaching my case.
