San Antonio FP question

FP scheduled Wen. 10 am, need to get back to Austin by 2:30 to pick up my daughter. Any one has done FP recently in San Antonio office, please
share your experience, especially how long it takes to complete the process.

My wife has not received her FP notice yet. Called TSC, the IIO said he would try to schedule her FP in the same time slot as mine. Nothing happended yet. Will try her luck Wen. anyway.

Will post our experience and update the tracker after FP.

It only took an hour for us over there

to finish up the whole thing, we got to the ASC at 9am and got back to Austin before noon. So you should be able to make it by 2:30pm. I think it also won't matter if you get there a little earlier than the scheduled time...

As for your wife's case, I'd suggest you have your wife go with you. I do know some friends and also saw some posts here that spouse didn't get the FP but went ahead along with the primary applicant and got FP done at the same time... It won't hurt to try. You might want to search through this forum to see other ppl's experience.

I did not do my FP in San Antonio. But I too had my FP at 10 AM. But since I had to go to office, my wife and I went to the Ft. Worth, TX ASC at 9 AM itself. They didn't ask why we came early or anything. We were out of that place around 9.30 AM. You should be able to make it to Austin in time.

Regarding your wife's FP, long time ago, "jaxen" wrote a post (I think by "kerala") about the same issue. "kerala"'s spouse also did not get FP. "jaxen" said that the best way was to have taken the spouse for FP too. Unfortunately I could not find that post.

San Antonio FP experience

Thank you for your response.

I went to San Antonio for fp yesterday. Get in little late, not many people in line. Fill out a simeple form, approched to the front desk to ask about my wife's fp. Front desk lady was very nice, she dont think they can do fp without notice, but she called her supervicer to ask, comfirmed that then can not do fp without notice. So I just go ahead did mine. Whole fp process takes about 20 min. Later I found they need to send fp notice with fp to FBI. At least that Iis what I was told, that could be the reason why they can not do fp with notice.

Called TSC this morning, get a fairly nice IIO. She confirmed my wife's fp was not sent out. Offered to send request to the fp dept. She also asked my phone #. She said only thing I can do is wait.

TSC really sucks. No sign of I-485 approvals.
