Same day EAD in Chicago?

Does anyone know if we ave same day EAD in Chicago area?
Also which office and number of the office who take care of such issue?

No Walkins for EAD in Chicago

Chicago does not entertain walk in applications for EAD and you must mail them in. go to INS website and click on field offices info for more details. You have to mail your application 90 days prior to expiration and they will send you an appointment letter when the EAD is approved.

Also I heard that EAD in given by the local labor department. no?
And you can get a temp one if your case is not approved in 90 days.

Same day EAD

Can you get EAD issued in a city different from your residence?

If yes, then you may want to try INS office in Indianapolis. I heard that they issue EAD same day.
