I got my green card in August 01 and was on a project. Recently in 3rd week of Decemeber I finished my project at client site and with immediate effect my consulting company reduced my salary about 35% on bench. Besides this they had slashed the salary 5% even when I was on project.
My question is does this make me a good candidate to go ahead and change the job if I get one immediately ? What precautions I need to take ? I have the paystub for the reduced salary but my company has not sent any official letter mentioning that you salary has been reduced.
