Salary question, please help!

I-485 RD is 8/10/2001. I have a question need help. When filing LC, my salary was specified as 74k (company promised). Because the sluggish economy, my salary was not increased very much in the last year. I am afraid I can\'t meet the targeted salary before my case is to be approved. Will this situation affect me to get the green card, suppose if I get a RFE ? What should I do now ? Anybody having such a experience please help! Thanks in advance!
 
The sponsoring company is supposed to pay the stated salary when the GC is approved

AC21 may, or mmay not, effect this. It seems stupid to put restrictions on the sponsoring employer that are not placed on other employers. That doesn\'t mean that AC21 changes anything, only that there is an ambiguity.
