When you use AC21 to transfer employees, is there a maximum range in salary difference between the new employer and old employer?

Should the new job have a salary within say 10/20% of the old job? Is there any requirement like that?

As long as job descriptions match, salary differential doesn;t matter

There is no salary difference/similarity requirement per se in the AC-21 law. However, CIS has mentioned somewhere that a significant change is salary can be indicative of changed job duties. On this forum, people have received approvals even with salary differences of +100% and -50%, though typically 20-30% difference is considered acceptable.

I think all that matters is whether your salary falls within the range of salaries (check O*NET) offered for your position in your location. If you are in the bottom or top 10 percentile then you risk of interview increases, that's all.
