S-corp : has anyone started thru online ?

Does anybody started a company (s corp, or LLC or any kind) thru Online sites like incorporate.com, mycorporation.com etc ? which is better ? thru them or thru a CPA ? or my myself ? please put your comments ...

thanks joe for your reply. I went thru lots of study and decided S corp is the best for me. I'm a GC holder and can start it. Other than the paper work what these online companies does what else is involved ? I mean Once they do the name search and register it in state, I need a federal Id that I can get over phone ... Then the CPA is required only when I file the tax etc ?

Isn't that true ?
 
I registered a C corp some time back. I used small biz.com . They were pretty good. To get started you dont need the lawyer or a CPA, if you know what you are doing. But it is good to have a CPA or lawyer to check things like how many authorized shares, the par values, issued shares etc.. But if you are comfortable with it you can do it online. So is getting the EID.

The fun starts once you registers the company. Then you HAVe to get the help of a CPA to maintain sanity. There is too much paperwork for the taxes, state documents, renewal etc.. Anyway good luck with it.
