Rupnet Data processing

jpmbank,

based on your analysis, we should expect a change in processing date as January and February 02 are close to 90% (as far as I know this is when they change the processing date). I hope this is really the situation, and we can all see a change for good soon.
Interesting enough, immigrationwatch does not provide such analysis, and is missing a lot of data. Good that we have rupnet, though. From what I heard, there are probably more people that were approved, however did not update rupnet for several reasons (one of them being that they never entered their info). What do you guys think?

Modified plot.

Input data Number of Rupnet reported cases and Number of aproved reported in Rupnet.

Computed data: %age of Rupnet approval and %age of approval corrected to predict actual approval by CIS.

N.B. corrected % obtained by assuming prior to Feb02 as 100% approval. and taking 'weighted average' between June 01 till Feb 02 (considering missed and delayed reporting).

Result: 70% Rupnet approval corresponds to 100% actual approval. Data plotted shows % actual approval by CIS. Considering 30-60% as realistic chance, RD between 6/2/02 - 9/10/02 is actual CIS processing window. Pick your chance. As far as I see, CIS processing is not all that random, except perhaps some of us are more lucky than others.
