Planning to go to Brazil soon. Anyone here have been there? Don't know whether they accept RTD or whether visa is needed..

i am sorry i cant answer your question about RTD but :
Brazil is the only country that takes photos and fingerprints from US citizens when they arrive in brazil
you know kinda payback for its own citizens when they come to US
the best way is to call their embassy .

I know that Brazil DOES require a VISA for U.S. Citizens...and I am almost sure they'll take your RTD, because I am from there and kind of know where the country stays in these things....
Anyway, contact your nearest embassy, you'll nedd a visa as well.

Yes you`re required to have a visa before you go to Brazil for more information go to www.embassyworld.com choose option B you will be able to obtain all the information you need.
