Hi All,
I just got a letter from the canadian consulate saying that I need to pay the RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE which is refundable if I decide not to go to Canada in the future.
Is this a new law or always been because I thought the payment should be made once you are landing.

Thanks

you have to pay ROLF before you land, if you dont want to land or go to Canada as immigrant you can get back your ROLF, you have to inform before your LP expire and can ask for ROLF back
