Not sure if anyone has been in this situation before...
The passport associated with the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) is expiring soon and I need to apply for a new one.
Will I be allowed to enter Canada by land, using my COPR paper and a NEW passport issued by Indian Consulate in USA??
I completed my landing formalities in Canada in Nov '07 but do not have the PR Card. Immigration Officer did not take relative's address at the time of landing!!
I searched for the phone numbers of any of the Canadian Niagara Falls Border Posts (Peace/Rainbow Bridge) to talk directly to an officer, but couldn't locate it.
Any input on this matter is highly appreciated.
