RIR TRACKER-Boston SESA

DELAYS! DELAYS! DELAYS!

Hello folks:
It is terrible to see this agonizing wait for a Permanent Residency to this great country... Many of us have to face this agonizingly slow task and as soon as we are through we forget about it! It is high time we, the taxpayers did something about it!
I propose the following:
Everyone (including anyone that you know) should ask their lawyers to petition AILA to lobby in the US Congress and House (in fact, our employers can write a petition too), to streamline the Labor Certification, I-140 and I-485 approval process so that each approval process (Labor Cert, I-140, I-485) must be completed in a reasonable amount of time (like 1-2 months each instead of 1-2 years each!).

Although there is not a lot of activity on this discussion thread yet, I appreciate your effort to keep the list going. There is no way to get any information from the SESA...

This is the least I can do to help on this frustrating time. Mine is 06/15/01, EB2-RIR. I actually started a new tracker "MA SESA tracker" for all pending cases not just for RIR cases at MA SESA so that a braoder range of people can add their info and we can better track MA SESA.

does that mean april 30 case already in DOL boston , or still need wait one week for it to be forward to DOL form SESA

Did you find your case already forwarded to DOL and in the database? Did your lawyer tell you that he got something from SESA indicating your case forward to DOL? My lawyer got nothing yet so far.
 
SESA delays

It seems like they have been working on April applications forever.
This is pretty frustrating.

I am fraid of that it still takes one more week for the April 30 RIR case to forward to DOL. And I also have a impression that even that happens, the lawyer will not get notification for the forwarding form SESA to DOL.

What is your case\'s status.
 
SESA is so slow!

Is your PD April. 30? Mine is April. 24 as in the list. One month ago, I read your note that your case already forwarded. You did not get that message from your lawyer?
 
Where should we post

Hi seenoend and everyone else. Which board should we use, this one or the the other MA SESA discussion board? There is not so much activity on either board, so we might want to select one. I enjoy these discussions a lot.
