Hi,
According to our company's attorney, in order to file LC under RIR we need to run job ads in the newspaper for 6 months.
1.) Is it true in california? I believe yes.

2.) Also if we run job ads for 6 months then do we need to post/publish the ad on any online site also, say dice.com?

3.) Is it okey to post the ad on the company's website during this period?

I would appreciate an early reply. TIA.
 
The idea of ad is to show the efforts put-in to do recruitment. Any paid web-site will do - however some people prefer ad on http://www.ajb.dni.us generally for LC purpose.

You may put ad on your company's web-site too. Even putting on office notice board will do for that matter.

It's not for 6 months but within last 6 months. Check thread for California and find the norm in the SESA/DOL you are planning to start the process.

Get as much as support you get to show recruitment effort from the company. As Jharkandi mentioned, posting an advertisement at "http://www.ajb.dni.us" is also a good idea.
