Can someone educate me more on 'RIR deficiencies'. Case was filed in EB3, RIR. My Priority date is Aug 1, 2000........ yeh..yeh. yeh...(almost a record-setting LC case). My case was transaferred to DOL, Dallas in Oct, 2000. In Sep, 2001 on enquiry my lawyer received a fax stating 'RIR deficiencies' in my application from DOL, Dallas. Ever since then there has been no news from DOL regarding this issue. Also my lawyer has only told me that there has been no further communication/ statements from DOL, Dallas regarding the details of 'RIR deficiencies' in my LC case.
My LC seems to be going nowhere and looks ridiculous to have waited for so long. My RIR has not been rejected, neither any NOF has been issued. I doubt whether DOL really takes more than a year to send a detailed note regarding 'RIR deficiencies'
Has anybody else encountered such problems with 'RIR deficiencies' and is so then how did you go about resolving it.
What might be the reasons pointing to 'RIR deficiencies' ?
Does anybody have any DOL contact information, where I can myself follow up on my Labor Cert case ? .
