I have heard that INS is not accepting applications under RIR anymore. Everyone in Hi-tech has to go through Non- RIR status
(even if you have already applied).I also confirmed this with my lawyer. At this rate - it will take 4 years just for LC in CA !!!
I am in CA and few of my friends have recd notices from INS to reapply under non-RIR status.
Can someone please throw sone light on this situation ?
Has anyone else had such an experience ?
What about the other states ? Is this prevalent only in CA ?
