Can some of the pay stubs be of your previous employer?

sjk, do you have a break between these 2 jobs or did you find your new one, without loss of even 1 pay period?

Question to MANGO_PICKLE.. Loss of pay periods.

Hi,

My question to mango_pickle..

Is loss of pay period of a major concern??? Between my old jo (where gc was filed) and current one (where I filed the AC21) there was a loss of 5 pay periods (assuming 14 day cycle) . That is about 2&1/2 months without a job.

Can you tell me if this is going to be against me? All my lawyers said was that when I was going to be adjudicated, I SHOULD have a job. I lost my previos job in nov 2002, got the next one starting feb 2003. So its been about 9 months in the current position. Pay is 8% more, and the job function is exactly the same.

Just want to pre-empt any uncomfortable questions from USCIS when I receive the RFE. I wonder if anyone got an RFE that stated if the person was ever without a job.

Thanks again,
Raj.

Yep, I was without work for about 5 months. But my lawyer said it should not mind as I will be submitting paysubs of my new job with EVL and AC21 letter.

Q: My lawyer is my companies lawyer, and due to conflict of intrest refused to reply to my RFE. But she is going to advice me about the case.
She said that there is no need for a lawyer to reply to an RFE , and the applicant can do so. Is that rite. Can I reply to my own rfe.?
Thanks

To Suchiraj5

Changing apartments should not be a problem . I changed my address twice after filing 485. Apart from sending the AR11 form be sure to call BCIS to change address ,
I would stongly advice against travelling outside the country.

sjk,

Do you have 4 paystubs from your new job, then? Is it ok if you submit fewer paystubs? did you talk to your lawyer about that? Please Share. Thanks.

suchiraj5, I need to find answers to similar questions. I am almost in the same boat, except that I haven't received RFE yet but expecting soon.

May be some of the gurus on the forum can help.
