Checked with INS. I believe that they had sent a RFE . Asked about the nature of the same, but could not get a reply. The officer said she does not know.

RFE Does it mean that the process will be delayed further.
Please share experience.

My lawyer called on Monday asking them to expedite the process. I called on Tuesday and today as well. WOuld this have done any damage.

Since yr lawyer called to expedite the process, they must have picked
up the case and started looking at it. It is quite normal to receive
RFE. Nothing to worry about. It will be either employment letter,
paystubbs or W2. So don\'t worry. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the
ride!

Thanks. It has been a painful ride so far. There could be a layoff soon and could be early next week. I am worried as to how I would answer then . One more issue. I have worked all over the country but given just one address in the midwest. I am imagining a lot of things now.
