I can suggest few things like,
- your marriage certificate,
- credit card bill statements which have both of your names,
- utility bills,
- life insurance policy if spouse is shown as beneficiary,
- bank account if have both of your names.
- If you have kids, then their birth certificate as it will have both of your names as father and mother.
- Any property documents like car, house if both of your names are there.

You have to show some document that can prove that your marriage is valid and living together. Possible documents are:
1. mortgage paperworks/rental agreement that has both of your names.
2. bank statement from joint bank account.
3. utility bills for your home address that can prove that both you are living in same home (for example, electricity bill in your wife's name and telephone bill in your name - and both are in same address. Or an utility bill that has both of your name on it).
4. joint tax return.
5. recent pictures together (with child, if any)
6. medical insurance card that has both names on it.

I've got the same RFE for EAD & AP of my wife.She's on F1 and I'm on H1.
Funniest part is we got our FP notices and both of our FP are done.How could this happen at INS?
At the time of sending FP notice ,don't they look at the marriage certificate?.
I think they must have misplaced it.
So asking again just to waste time.I think doing it purposefully.
So just send marriage certificate once again , u should be ok.

Your query is different to manju189's query. Whereas for AP and EAD they may just need the marriage certificate, for I-485 query they want to know if the relationship 'still exists'. So a marriage certificate alone will not do in this case. He will have to send documents as pralay and mugdha have suggested.

RFE has not relation with FP. There is nothing funny in it.

My attorney'd resent the info ,waiting for the reply.

Because FP is generated by default for any I485 applicant. It has nothing to do with RFE.

Please let me know , if this's the case then I need to talk to him about sending copies.

This is one of the reasons when I filed my 140 back in Feb'03 my attorney told me that they have been having lots of problems with filing 140 & 485 together and hence wanted to send them seperately. I filed my 485 a month and half after 140 and 2 weeks later I got my 140 approval. I believe it is still considered concurrent, though I don't know for sure or whether it even matters any more in my case since I have already waited 19 months.
