pay stubs

Thanks for putting things together. Do you know when they ask for pay stubs, do they just need the recent couple months or they actually ask for the pay stub from the sponsoring company which may date back 6 months if someone changes job in the middle?

jayjay they can ask for pretty much any time frame.

For me they had asked for last 3 months, but there are some others on the board for whom they asked for last 6 months and so on. So you\'d just have to wait and see your own RFE, if any.

How do you know VSC recieved your RFE , did you call the IIO or the AVM says so .Just curious to know as my attorney also sent the RFE yesterday .
 
Has anyone received 2 RFE\'s

I received a RFE for medical and photos to which I responded. The AVM has acknowledges the receipt of the RFE on Nov 19th. However, yesterday the IIO told me that a second RFE might have been generated. She is not sure whether it is by mistake or not. The AVM does not indicate that a second RFE has been generated. Any experiences would be helpful.

It\'s possible.

I received two RFEs for my I-140 applications. You never know. At least INS didn\'t ask for my w-2 or pay stubs for my I-485.

Why RFE...?

Hi there,

I\'m just curious why and under what situation that INS will generate a RFE? I kinda understand that they sometimes require pay stubs or w-2 to prove that you are still with your company. But I saw people being asked to provide med or geographic info - shouldn\'t they have those information when we submit our application?

I\'m just worried if I will get one...
 
RFE means that officer feels something is missing or needs clarification

It probably means that those sections of the application were not filled out completely. For most medical cases, it typically is for an updated immunization record or if the doctor didn\'t fill out the 693 correctly.

Of course, there are the wierd ones that defy any explanation (e.g. primary approved but dependant asked for employment letter from primary\'s employer)! These, I cannot hazard a guess for.
