How much times does a rfe takes to reach you or your lawyers hand. This suspense me making me crazy . Its nearly one week now they had send out rfe according to there site and i still do't know what it is.

INS issued an RFE on May 21, 04 and still it hasn't reached my lawyer or me. Per online message we need to contact that crap 1800- number in case if we haven't received within 14 days. When I did that I was told that they can initiate the inquiry only after 30 days from May 21. :mad:

Please let me know once you receive your RFE
 
21st may. start sending out faxes. IF i do't see it in 14 days i will do that .I do't care if phone guys says 30 days . Try calling again and ask from 2 3 different ppl. Those ediots do't know much though so one of them might push ur request.
 
GOVGC whats your WAC number. DID u receive your RFE or still the same. I have't received mine this thing is freaking me out .


Anyone is there way anyone can go in person to Laguna nigeal office and get the RFE?

Not yet. My company attoreny says let's wait for 30 days then we will inquire. It seems only an attorney can raise an inquiry on RFE. Both my lawyer and IIO[that dumb 1800-person] said the same. My case is transferred from TSC to CSC. Strange that It wasn't transferred to the local dist. office for an Interview! More I haven't received my second finger printing yet. Are you in the same boat too ?

I understand your frustration. Probably your attorney has too many cases with him/her - that's why does not bother to send an enquiry for your case. IIO are normally useless - it's "unfair" to expect anything from them. I would recommand to write a letter requesting for duplicate RFE copy (request to mail to your lawyer's address). Attach this letter to with the standard fax sheet and keep faxing it everyday - both in initial level fax and secondary level fax numbers. There is a good chance that you won't see action. But it's harmless and fruitful if they take any action.
