I got my GC aproved in June/07. However, my wife'case has a RFE that was sent on June 20th but never received by our lawyer.
The lawyer has been contacting them to re-send it and I even got a letter they will do it, but it's still taking forever...
I have several questions:
1. Any idea why RFE are taking 4rever to be delivered?
2. What are the chances this will be considered abandoned even with the lawyer contacting them frequently?
3. We believe they're requesting her vaccinations because she was pregnant by the time we filled the I-485. Can't we just have the vaccinations, create a cover letter referring to the receipt number, explain the situation by them and attach my son's birth certificate and SEND to the USCIS even without receving the actual RFE?
Another lawyer said I could and that they would approve as soon as they receive the paper, but my lawyer is very conservative...Any idea?
Also, I'm changing jobs and will transfer from this lawyer to another. Legally is possible!
Hope anybody can help me!
