RFE, Still waiting approval

No luck for me, still waiting. The security check is just a huge black hole. Now I feel my case may get stuck for another year.
 
My RFE was received by BCIS on 11/02. 8 months has gone and I have not received anything!!! I saw this is how it works:
The later you receive your RFE, you gets approved instantly...
The later you do your first FP, you waste less time since you don't have to get the 2nd one and security check, etc...
