RFE stays in the lawyer office for 20 days for nothing. IGATE

   Lawyer still has it and didn\'t send to INS yet.
   any one in the same situation...
   I am wondering why lawyer take more than 20 days to send it to INS.

   My current EAD expires on 09/26/2001. I applied for the EAD renewal a couple of weeks and I doubt whether I will be able to
   receive my EAD before my current EAD expires.

   Please advise me on the above EAD situation..

Attorney\'s office may take 2-4 weeks to reply

I think attorney’s office will take some time to reply to INS. In my case, it took (C & G) almost 4 weeks to respond to RFE, after receiving the updated employment letter from LD. My details are given below.

PD: Aug 98
RD: 13th Aug 99
ND: 09th Sep 99
FP: Apr 2001
RFE generated on: 5th July 2001 (For employment letter and earnings
                                 statement for last 2 months)
Received by LD on: 18th July 2001
Sent to lawyer’s office by LD: 23rd July 2001
Sent to INS by Lawyer’s office: 14th Aug 2001
AVM updated on: 20th Aug 2001
