RFE response not recvd after 14 days, is this normal ?

According to my employer they sent my RFE response on 4/17. Till today the AVM message has not changed. I called VSC on 4/27 and the IIO said they haven\'t yet recvd it. Is this normal or do I have a problem? I\'ve even seen one case posted here where someone sent in a RFE response three days after mine was sent and he\'s been approved already.

What do u guys think ?

I think it normally takes about 10 days. In your case, it might have been delay at INS to update AVM. As long as they get it, that is most impt. Just hang on, approval ain\'t far away.

How come the message says it takes about 180 days after they received the RFE in my case?

One factor we have to remember with RFE\'s is that it all depends on which INS guy picks up your case. Yuor friends case was probably picked up by a "good" INS worker, which probably amounts to .0001% of INS staff.(Yes, I do believe there are some good INS workers)
