RFE responded on Sep. 12th-PD retrogresses in October

I got a RFE for my case 2 weeks back and the attorney sent the response on Sept. 12th. My PD is current in September. Is there any chance that the case will get approve before end of this month?
Is any body in the same situation?

My case details:
PD: July 2003
EB2
I140 - approved (non-concurrent filing)
I485 - filed on July 2nd, 2007
NBC->CSC->NBC
FP - Nov. 5th, 2007
RFE responded on Sep. 12th

Every case is different but in most cases, if they send RFE with current PD, a decision will be taken upon reply, for sure there are exceptions.
 
I have responded to REF(NSC) on July 24 and there was soft LUD on July 28.
I didn't hear after that.
PD was current in Sep but now there is no hope of quick approval.
 
RFE response received

Yesterday(16th) there was a hard LUD that my case was received. And today there is a soft LUD on my case.
