RFE Responded- Do i need EAD Renewed for wife

My wife's EAD is expiring on 9/24/02 which she used last year to work. She also used AP to travel. She is not working anymore.

Do I need to renew her EAD?
Her I-94 is valid till 9/24. Will she be considered out of status without EAD?

Please advise.

EAD is used only for work authorization.

Status is maintained my a pending I-485.

If I-485 is pending and your wife is currently not working you do not need to renew her EAD.

That means,

1) she doesn't need new I-94/EAD or H4 as long as the I-485 application is pending.
2) She requires only Parole in case of need to travel abroad.

Is this correct???
