'RFE Reply' to Approval.. How much time?

Hi,

How much time does it take to receive the approval after responding to the RFE and RFE being received.

My RFE was received today (jan 05, 2004). How much more time can I expect (other than the 730 days that it shows) for me to receive my approval.

i wish someone could intelligently answer your Q!

in the last month there have been some approvals in less than a week since INS formally stated the receipt of RFE.
and there are lot many cases I guess which haven't been approved even after a month. for instance in my case (wac-02-065), its been ~40days.
interestingly though, i have received a notice for 3rd FP and my lawyer is insisting on going ahead with it.

so judge for yourself. :)
 
My RFE was issued on Oct 23 or so and they received it on Oct 31st (thats hte posted date).

Needless to say I'm still waiting.

Large Variance

Yes, the variance for this stage is crazzy! I haven’t seen any theory for the reason behind it other than INS being a bureaucratic, #$&!, agency.

INS received the response to my (EVL, W2, paystubs) RFE last Nov. 13, so next week it will be 60 days.

Looking at ast Project Kashmir data, you see

t=6months as in

WAC02046 2003-12-10 approved 2003-12-08 <- 2003-07-14 RFE received

t=2weeks as in

WAC02034 2003-12-18 approved 2003-12-16 <- 2003-12-01 RFE received
