BCIS is much more efficient than the old INS. Things are moving as per their schedule and the service is excellent when you call them.

My wife got her RFE on 09/29/03
Notice Date for I485 11/5/99
FP was done on 08/15/03

RFE asked for medical examination and birth certificate. (Medical was not done at the time of I485 application.)

Myself and my son were also FP on 8/15/03 with same notice date and we are waiting for our RFE. No change in case status online.(My wife was the priniciple applicant.)

RTD issue has slowed down maybe because of more volume and security checks. I dont blame BCIS.
My RTD Notice date is 06/16/03 and I am still waiting.

Hope this information helps.

thanks a lot, that's very good news indeed
mine also is 000.

this is the message i am getting in the online status

Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on December 6, 1999. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

Was your wife's saying the same thing?

My son's Rd is Oct 26 1999 and same message 570-600 days and he is under 14 his Lin000,no updates yet

congrats to all who received any response from BCIS or USCIS rather (they keep changing thier name),
I kind of disagree with the notion that all of sudden BCIS is working in an orderly fashon.
my ND SEP 99 and I haven't recived anything from them ever since. although I called twice in the last 2 months.
I hope and wish that all who applied get approved soon.
suggestion: could we maintain an updated database of all the ppl who applied and sort it out by ND and follow their progress? that would be very helpful.

It is a good idea. What to do next? Who will keep the database?
