Finally,
RFE has been issued for me and my wife yesterday for our pending I-485. We are yet to receive the letter.

I have added my wife 7 months later since I filled for concurrent I140 and I485.

Any idea? What could they request in RFE? If you guys can give me some insight, I would prepare ahead so that we can reply quick.

I am also in the same boat, waiting for my RFE (issued only for me on July2nd, not for my wife).

If this is issued for both of you, then it could be
1) Birth certificate
2) Marriage certificate
3) Medical Records

If it is for you, then it could be
4) Employment verification letter
5) W2 & Tax papers
6) Experience certificates

If you got anything different share with us :)

The RFE will most likely be for EVL for you and marriage records for your wife.

For me, I am yet to receive my wife's RFE which was issued on June 16 th.

I received mine within 2 days and my lawyer promptly replied back within one day. My lawyer says husband's RFE is sometimes erroneously put on wife's case. :(

When I call INS to re-issue the RFE, they say to call only after 30 days have elapsed even though the online status saya to call after 14 days.

Two FPs. Last FP done 1 month back.

what do you mean medical records. When I have applied I submitted the medical report. Is that what you are talking about? Can you also tell me what would be the best evidence for followings

1) Birth certificate= certificate submitted? What else?
2) Marriage certificate=certificate submitted? what else? Any more evidence?
Can you name it? pictures, join account etc?
3) Medical Records=submitted at the time of application. what else?

4) Employment verification letter= got it
5) W2 & Tax papers =
6) Experience certificates = What should I submit?

Birth certificate: They can ask for more evidence: like Show supporting documents like affidavits (stamp paper)from your parents (or any close relative who knows about your birth) stating that you are born at so and so time and place and you are their son.

Guys can you please answer what they can ask about Medicals if all medicals are submitted with I-485 application.

Got the affidabit ready. It mentions the date not the time exactly when I was born.
