RFE was because of company change in Name -
asked to send the receipt of new I-140 with new company name.

Now I have to resubmit the I-140 with new comany name.
Then I have to submit this receipt to continue with 485 approval.

My questions please.

- How long to get I-140 receipt.
- Is it just necesary I-140 ( acording to my lawyer ) or it needs to be approved.
- How does it effect my wife\'s process ( she is my dependant - H4 )
- How long still I need to wait for my 485 approval.

I will appreciate reply if anybody has similar experience.

you should get i-140 receipt within 3 weeks.
although vsc just asks for receipt of the new i-140, i\'vent seen any 485 approval before the approval of the 140.

You need to do I-140 amendment. It should take about a month to get I-140 amend. approved.

When did you send you response? when did you receive it, is it 13th sept or 13th oct.?
