Yesterday my attorney mailed me that c got the RFE letter and also responded for that. The RFE letter content is:
"A careful search of immigration records did not reveal a pending application for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident(I 484)in your name.
Submit documentary evidence that you have properly filed an application to permanent resident or adjust status (I 485), on or before the date you filed this I 765 application. If you filed with USCIS pls send a copy of receipt notice"
I was told by my attorney that the request was basically due that my file and my husband case got separated. And she responded to that. she did include all the necessary documents to prove that my husband application was based on my application.
What does this mean? How this happened? Is it correct? I have I 485 raceipt notice. And We did FP for I 485 only..Confused..
