RFE Receipt Message !! folks need help to understand !!

gentle persons !

I got an RFE for my case (RD NOV 5 98 FP APR 27th 99 )
on June 15th .. ..

Firstly, In my case (primary) they requested for for
previous 3 pay stubs and 99 W2 and letter of employment

Once submitted on may 19th msg changed on 27th to "we
are in receipt of response to RFE and it will take 90-180
days .. also since the preliminary ... are complete ..
it will take 180 days ..

DO you guys know how long will it take further ..?

Secondly a Funny incident occurred in my daughter\'s case
which i want to share.. it may happen to you .. so you may
avoid ...

She also got a RFE .. for incplete health form 693 .. one
of the TB skin test was not checked on the FORM by the
INS .. apoointed physician .. and hence it was kicked back

now... see the funny part now.. The doctor who did is no
longer in service and hence we have to redo the complete...
with another .. doctor.. while my family is away in India
i am in a dilemma.. if I could just complete the missing
by asking the doctor to refer to my PCP (my PCP has a complete
record) so that he can do that alone and the rest can
be part of the kick back form that can be enclosed..

I was told that is dangerous ... and it is better to redo the
complete thing ...

I have to ask my familyto cut short their visit and come back
as the form has to be turned in 12 weeks ...

Folks will my approval get affected just because of this ?

We are in the same boat: received RFE on 6/22 (request for letter of employ. and G325) and we fedexed materials on 6/23. The message changed on 6/27 into: " we recieveded materials..it is taking between 90-180 days..but..blah, blah...180 days". Same message you got, on the same date. Brief review of postings on RFE on this board shows that INS ussualy responds within 2-4 weeks (with another RFE or approvala).
