My friend has got an RFE to prove that she was in her resident country for 2 years when her J-1 was up.The problem is that she was In Canada for 2 years and not India-her country of residence then. Her lawyer told her at that time she would have no problem .Now she is a Canadian citizen.How can she appeal her case? Please advise.
