RFE per family or per person

Hi, need some help here. If the on line status for both me and my spouse get changed to RFE mailed, then how many letter should the law firm get? One letter (for the primary) that has both information or two seperate letters for each person? Thanks for any information you can provide on this.

I believe every 485 case gets individual (not sure about childern RFE).

In our case ,we got a single RFE letter but both our status said RFE issued. The RFE was for the primary applicant with the spouse as derivative.

we have got two one for primary and one for dependent.

Even we got one letter just like 'Sdvid'.

Primary applicant and spouse as derivative. When we sent the response back to INS only my status got changed to 'Response Received' but for my wife it still shows as RFE sent.

Thank you for your reply. RFE was issued (on line status changed for both me and spouse) two weeks ago, but lawyer has not received it yet. A little bit worried.
