RFE on TN mail-in renewal

The company did a mail-in renewal for me. Yesterday we received a RFE (request for evidence). The officer asks for additional proof for my Canadian citizenship. I remembered that we'd send my passport copy. Has anybody experienced that before? The only other document I have is the citizenship card.

What was the exact wording?

All I can think of is that the quality of your Passport copy was poor.

You can send a copy of the cit card too if you wish, but I've never heard of this being needed when copy of valid current passport is supplied.

But, above all, do NOT be tempted to send in your original Passport or cit card.

I just got a copy of the RFE. It says "You submit only the portion of the benefiiary's passport with only the entry stamps. Please submit your personal data page".

The atterney told me they had send in copies of all passport pages.

Oh well. Send another copy.
