RFE on the way ND Dec 9 2000 Questions for GURUS

Questions for GURUS to anser.

1. I checked VSC AVM for both, my wife and I.For both the cases they say RFE issued. Does that mean that two RFEs are issued? or only one for the primary applicant?
2. After receiving RFE roughly how long does it take for them to approve the case?

Answer to the second question

it depends on your luck! A friend of mine has responded to his rfe (regular stuff - pay stubs etc) on July 7th (that\'s the date INS received the reply). No decision on his case yet. His ND - Oct 99! Where as someone has posted approval. His response was received on Oct 10th, i think, and approved on oct 17th. So it\'s again a matter of luck!

RFE response sent yesterday.

RFE was for paystubs and employment letter.
1. Paystub from the new compnay (working as w2)
2. Letter from old employer saying they will hire me after the GC.
....
You guys think that this combination would fly?
