RFE on medical records and missing on post

Hi,

My friend has this weird situation. USCIS has issued an RFE on his wife's medical records for 485. Lawyer received the packet but when they FedEx'ed the package to my friend, they are missing. FedEx is not able to track the package.
What are my friend's options at this time? Can he do a fresh medical exam and send it to the USCIS? Or do he need to inform USCIS and act accordingly? He sent a message to his immigration attorney. I believe they are also trying to get the answer for him.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The attorney most propably has a copy from the RFE, ask him to fax it to you.
99.999% of medical RFE is for TB testing, his wife should do TB testing and X-ray if it is positive and send it to he USCIS as soon as possible (30 days from the day of RFE issuance) with a copy of I-485 at least
She should do that with assigned civil surgeon on form I-639
Repeating whole exam is not bad idea but time and money consuming and actually not required
Do not waste time contacting immigation and lawyer and other stuff
 
Thanks for the quick response mmed. USCIS sent the whole medical packet to the attorney and when attorney sent the packet my friend, it was missed on FedEx. I was thinking about asking my friend to go for a fresh medical exam again, that way we will have all documents correctly. But I don't know whether USCIS kept a copy of the form or anything in the file. If we don't notify them, not sure whether this creates a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
