RFE on I485

Hey guys-I posted in 485 section but tend to use this section more, so sorry for posting twice. I had been hopeful I would not get an RFE for my case, but alas, I got one. :( I am pretty sure it's for my missing I94 for 2001-2002, which I just found! :) My question is whether the RFE for my 485 will affect my I765 processing. The RFE was specifically for the 485 and nothing else. So what do you think? Also had to laugh today because a friend of mine from Canada emailed and said-aren't you glad that now you are married to a USC you dont have to deal with INS anymore! yeah, right!

That's not necessarily true. It may halt/restart the 90 day clock. Just get the missing evidence to them promptly, and it shouldn't slow things down too much.

It shouldn't affect your processing of the EAD; however I would upon receiving the RFE, send whatever information they are requesting "PRONTO"!!! :p

In similar situation

My situation is as follows;
I submitted my I485/I765 in Dec.
RD 12/14/06
ND 12/20/06
FP done 01/03/07
RFE on I485 12/29/06

My RFE specifies that it is for I485 and they are requesting medicals. However it also says that 'You are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(b)(10)(ii) until 90 days after the missing initial evidence is received.'

Can someone break this down for me because I don't understand whether or not this is going to affect my I765 since it says interim. Do they mean in case my I765 is not processed on time I will not be able to get an interim EAD?

My case status online reflects the request for initial evidence on the I485, whereas the I765 is still talking about the receipt notice they sent me.

i got rfe for i485 medical and tax transcript
call customer service the lady told me it will not affect my i765 so still counting
