Details of my RFE on I-485 dated 9/19 & recd. by my lawyer on 9/25 are as follows -
- Biographic Information G-325A
- W-2 forms & tax returns for 2004, 2005 & 2006
- Pay stubs for 6 months
- EVL on company letter head
I am asked to respond within 30 days...

Do I see any light @ end of the tunnel..Please advise !! :confused::(:mad:
 
Why do they ask w2 and tax returns? I thought ability to pay would be an issue during I-140 stage. experts.... please comment
 
-76- , What salary you are showing in your EVL ? Labor Salary or Current salary , if it's different. In my case my current salary is Higher than the salary showed In the labor. I'm not sure what salary I want to show in EVL.

By the Way I got the RFE for EVL too.

My current salary is definitely not the same as labor.. In my view, it should not be an issue ..coz nobody will be working @ the same pay rate for 4-5 years. Anyways, Let's keep fingers crossed !

Even I donno why I was asked to submit W-2's & Tax returns.. I just did everything what was asked in RFE..& sent the same to my attorney for review.

-76-, I have also asked my employer to enter my current salary. Let's hope everything goes well with our RFE's .
 
RFE sent out on 10/3 & reached USCIS texas on 10/4 as per Usps tracking info..But no LUDs /updates yet -
Anybody in the same / similar situation ???
 
-76- I am also in the same boat ....

I sent the reply to my wife's RFE with the completed Medical and Immunization records I-693 in USPS express mail on Sept 29, 2007 and got the online confirmation from USPS that it reached USCIS/TSC, PO Box 140892, Irving TX - 75014 on October 1, 2007. I called the USPS Texas and got the confirmation that the mail was collected by USCIS on October 4, 2007. Till today, the USCIS has not updated the status regarding the receipt of the document. Also yesterday we called USCIS/TSC and the IO was saying that they might have received it and not have updated the status but not confirming the receipt of the document. Since the reply to the RFE should reach them on or before October 15, 2007, I am worried. Pl. let me know should I have to send again the Photocopies of the document?
 
You cant send medical docs through fax

Same thing for me My wife's medical was supposed to reach USCIS office by 12th Oct , USPS confirms that package reached on 1 Oct.

Today is 11th Oct there are no updates from USCIS ,also you cant send your medical documents through fax , cause they needs to be Sealed envelop.

Also as long as you have delivered notice , you are covered..


those are my 2 cents..
