I got laid off and joined a new employer soon. My 1st H1 was valid until Dec 2004, which my corresponding employer has not revoked.
After that, I got another job with a consultant. They filed for my H1 transfer. There was an RFE on this peition, asking for my status for the 35 days between my lay off and new petition. I have submitted my severance paystubs received during those 35 days in response to RFE. The severance paystubs look very much like regular paystubs, so I am hoping it should be accepted (Touch Wood....Knock Knock Knock).
I am currently working at a client place of my consulting employer. This client is now looking at employing me permanently, and want to file for my H1 petition asap.
Please advice if you see any problems here. What happens if (God forbid) there is problems with my H1B petition on which there was RFE. Any other problems/situations you can foresee?
Please help!!
